A fantastic performance by Franck and his band. Despite the small numbers in attendance, the band played for a solid two hours with no sign of flagging and still working hard to engage what audience they had. For fans of classic '70's era prog such as early Genesis or Pink Floyd, this band are a must see. The theatricality of the 'cat in the hat' and in fact the whole group were superb. Mary Reynaud makes an excellent foil for Franck, whether providing additional vocals, or playing theremin in a battle with a didgeridoo. Special mention should also go to Chrisophe Obadia on guitar, rainstick and aforementioned didgeridoo and keyboard player and Ben Affleck-look-alike Olivier Castan for performances above and beyond. Highlights have to be the duet of 'Closer to Irreversible' with Franck and Mary trading vocals, the opening 'Torn Apart', the surprise addition of Floyd's 'Eclipse' to close the first set and the brilliant 'Alice's Eerie Dream' which segued into Led Zeppelin's 'R ock & Roll' to finish the night. An all round excellent evening.
