What people are saying about Graham Bonnet Band

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overwhelming This was a group night out with myself, my husband, my parents & 2 friends. Without doubt the best pub gig I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. Never in my life did I imagine i'd ever even get the chance to see Graham Bonnet who is an absolute legend to me as I've been a life long fan, so to witness him so up close & personal in a Blackpool pub was just mind blowing! I even got the chance to meet some of the band & had my photo taken with Beth the bass guitarist. The band were unbelievable, Graham Bonnet has definitely still got it & The Waterloo Music Bar is a cracking venue with a great atmosphere & great priced drinks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An amazing evening of rock! Having seen great shows with other ex-Rainbow singers, the bar was set high for the Graham Bonnet Band - and they did not disappoint. Graham is in fine voice for a 68-year-old, he has a great band with him, and the setlist represented his career very well. Although I wasn't familiar with his Alcatraz and Michael Schenker Group material, many others in the audience were - and indicated their approval very vocally! I must check out some of those songs myself.... The ones I knew and loved were Night Games and SOS from Graham's "Line-Up" album c.1981, also I was delighted to see Graham's band play Only One Woman from Graham's "Marbles" band c.1968. My favourites were the Rainbow songs that Graham sang on the Down To Earth album c.1979 : Eyes Of The World, All Night Long, Love's No Friend, Since You Been Gone and the set came to an absolutely storming close with Lost In Hollywood. The sound overall was excellent - not over-loud, and very well-balanced I must also mention one of the support bands "Desolation Angels" - their great riffy rock was a treat for the ears too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The man can still hit those notes!!! Most of Mr. Bonnetts songs require a certain level of vocal dexterity, so, bearing in mind the years that have passed since his 'hey day' I wasn't expecting too much. BUT that classic rock voice, despite the cold he was obviously carrying, was still as impressive as ever. Very enjoyable and entertaining. Catch 'em if you can!!!!!!!
