Rated 2 out of 5 by from good event, but no refund the event itself was enjoyable (live music, ice skating, food stalls) but I was promised to get a refund but I never got one (my brother was refunded). The issue seems to be that I bought a package with ice skating, and the event managers are unsure how much they should refund me for my tickets. abit frustrating. I would have given a higher rating if the refund would have been processed (and without the hassle of it)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible The worst experience on Xmas eve for me & my family ever!! We drove nearly five hours for absolutely nothing!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Evening out with the family The night out was okay. The silent disco was fun. The food we had there was good, but the market was small and did not have anything of interest to me. The market also closed very early. The live music was entertaining too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very dissapointing We booked our tickets in October when they were £19.60 per person, and attended on Saturday the 16th of December as a group of six. The event itself was a massive let down for all of us and we struggled to keep ourselves entertained for more than 20 minutes. We saw no evidence of the street entertainers that were advertised, and we counted only three open craft stalls which fell well short of our expectations for the winter market. The food and drink options were also very limited. The only positive is that the music was okay on the mirror stage, albeit it had no link to Christmas. I believe that entry is now free for the event which was the right thing to do, however I think its dissapointing that people who supported this event at an early stage by purchasing tickets are not being offered refunds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bit small but nice and xmassy The website makes it look a lot bigger than it is. It is essentially quite small with not a great deal to do other than the ice skating and the bar, that said I really enjoyed it! Few more things for the kids would be nice but would definitely go again next year

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I have seen events down in Greenwich before, which have really worked, so I was really disappointed to see this one just didn’t. There were a lot of unfilled stalls, and even then I would have expected more. It would really have benefited from an actual timetable of events, which wasn’t even up the day before we went. The Father Christmas was also really poor value for money. Very disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice afternoon I think the many of the reviews are a bit harsh. I guess it’s when people paid so I am not sure how I would have felt had we bought tickets but we had a lovely afternoon. It was nice to support a new local event. The Royal Naval College. It’s certainly not perfect and could do with more heated areas but we had a lovely afternoon and skated on a rink that wasn’t too busy and good value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A quiet but quality winter festival Me & family went for free and were so impressed by the quality of attractions and the attitude of the staff. The ice rink, music stage and silent disco were all to a very high standard - the seals on the ice rink were great and the grounds and food stalls were all beautiful. A particular highlight was the Santa grotto, which I didn’t go into but my sister said was the best she’s seen. Her session was cancelled last minute but the event manager went above and beyond to rearrange a slot for us. The staff were all polite and there was a great selection of festive food and drink available. I totally agree with others that the original £15 was ridiculous, and the result is that the festival is eerily quiet, but at free entry it’s a brilliant alternative to the packed, money grabbing festivals in other parts of London. This place has real potential to be a success in future years.
