Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Light Show I absolutely loved the Happy Mondays on Wednesday. The music was brilliant and even though I couldn't hear every word of the songs I loved the presence. To me the highlight of the night was the laser light show. It was absolutely amazing. Step-on!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Happy Mondays in Newcastle I was very disappointed with this gig. 1- There was no support band. 2- Apart from Bez, none of the band or the dancer had a presence and there was no co-ordination throughout their performance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A welcome blast from the past What a great night. More for the nostalgia than the band. They were good but obviously more clean living and less 24 hour party people. Saying that proximity to the band and lots of enthusiasm made it a great gig. Superb venue to boot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Happy Mondays - beyond sell by date I've seen quite a few bands from the old days some fantastic, some better than I remembered, Bauhaus, some like the Fall, chaotic, but more entertaining for it.The Happy Mondays were not in this category looking worn out, exchanging fake banter and constantly harking back to their glory days. It's was like TVs the Royle Family had formed a band and you could almost smell the stale cigarettes, booze and urine Did I regret going, no, it was always worth giving music a shot. The best things Bez's T shirt " hate divides, music unites" and Rowetta who outclassed them all.
