Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a gig... Not the greatest of audience interaction but the music spoke for itself. Really good atmosphere, great tunes, great musicianship. Paid £70 train up there and £70 for a hotel room and it was worth every penny!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy...well, you know! Third time I've seen these, and they get better every time. Took a friend who hadn't heard them before (not even one track) and he was blown away by them. Electro-funk-rock at its very best, a set list covering their whole back catalogue and a well drilled performance meant the night was a triumph. Kudos to Makeness for a fine support slot too, definitely one to watch...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blink and you'll miss it Doors opened at 7, I arrived at 7:30 and got rudely kicked out two hours later so the venue could make more money. Playing times had not been updated the night before, so I can't really comment on the support act, because by the time I'd bought a drink they had already finished. Holy F*** were good, but I'd barely thought about where to stand by the time they'd started so I got stuck up the back. Other people had already crowded the front. I'm new to London, is this normal for London or for the Village Underground? I would have complained at the time, but I couldn't be bothered queuing up to do so. It wasn't the band's fault, that lies somewhere between the promoter and the venue.
