Sorry there are no shows for Home, I'm Darling right now.
Following a sold-out run at the National Theatre, Laura Wade's "piercingly funny" (Time Out) new play transfers to the West End for 11 weeks only. Katherine Parkinson (The IT Crowd, Humans) reprises her acclaimed role as Judy, in Laura Wade's fizzing comedy about one woman's quest to be the perfect 1950's housewife.
How happily married are the happily married? Every couple needs a little fantasy to keep their marriage sparkling. But behind the gingham curtains, things start to unravel, and being a domestic goddess is not as easy as it seems.

A perfect play for a "girlie" trip to London for we two ladies of a certain age!
I had a dear friend of many years staying for a few days and was looking for something different for Saturday afternoon. Home, I'm Darling was the perfect choice as we were the right age to appreciate all the fifties references, costumes, decor etc. We were both young girls then and could relate to Judy's Mum's speech about how the fifties really were. When reviewing a play like this you don't want to give too much away about the storyline but suffice to say we had an excellent time, laughed a lot and also felt sad at times. Highly recommend the play and would see again. How they remembered all that dialogue amazed us!

Funny & poignant show!
Great show that shows us nostalgia isn’t all what you remember.

Bought tickets as a surprise treat for myself and partner, we both thoroughly enjoyed the play which is fun and thought-provoking. Good music too.
