Horse + Bamboo Theatre was founded in 1978. The Company is based in Rossendale, Lancashire, UK and tours nationally and internationally. Horse + Bamboo Theatre make visual theatre in which music and story-telling is central; the company uses masks, movement, puppetry, film, lighting in their productions. 

H+B tour throughout the UK and internationally. The productions vary - but the use of masks, puppetry, film, movement and through composed music are typical of our work. The company writes its own material and although most productions are aimed at family audiences, some are suited to an older age group.
