What people are saying about Inner City Live : Birmingham

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great music but terrible venue. Got treated like criminals going in, promised a good choice of Street Food and got hardly any choice, charged £5.50 for cans of warm Red Stripe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Music saves the day Thank goodness for the music at this event as apart from that the rest was pretty average. No set times published and a last entry time meant in poor weather people were crammed into what little cover until the main acts came on. They didn't disappoint unlike the bar overpriced £5.50 for a warm can of lager is taking the proverbial with little choice similarly the food

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Living it up in the Inner City! Went to the Inner City Live event with a friend, it was fantastic! A great line up, fantastic value with big name bands/artists. Great to witness the return of Doves, who were on great form. Similarly the Twang & The Coral, bands I've always wanted to see. Johnny Marr is a hero, & did not disappoint, the greatest!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bands, weather not good, beer expensive I enjoyed the bands that were on, unfortunately the weather was atrocious most of the day. The stage/ lighting was set up well and good to be able to see. Toilets set up was good but my main gripe was having to pay £5.50 for a can of red stripe!( less than that for 4 at any off license) . Just feel that it’s daylight robbery and spoils this type of event. It does put me off going again

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inner City Live The bands were absolutely exemplary, but, for the country’s second city the facilities were poor! No merchandise, limited food facilities, toilets for 20 thousand and about 5 tolls in a hundred foot of bar most without card payment facility. There was a space at the end of the bar which most people sheltered from the rain in, with a 2ft entrance (only one in / out) and barriers in front possibly to save the grass...... in short if this was in Manchester it would have been in Heaton Park with 30k people and done loads better! Don’t get me started on the dance / ask event next door, a fantastic waste of one good arena.... Rubbishbut for the quality of the bands

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not quite up to scratch Staging was off, sound was off the only saving grace was Johnny Marrs performance which was outstanding.
