What people are saying about Kaiser Chiefs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elland Road stadium rocked! Brilliant gig! The Kaiser Chiefs were on top form! Ricky Wilson must be one of the best frontmen around! Excellent support acts The Vaccines and The Sherlocks also deserve a mention.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leeds Rocks I attended this event with my friend Jonathan and live within walking distance of the stadium. The weather wasn’t great but by 2.00pm quite a crowd had built up waiting to get in some in woolly hats like me but most with macs. Never mind once in things got underway but this wasn’t just a great gig but also a celebration of 100 years of Leeds United so a football theme with good natured and lively chants warming things up. Good support especially from The Vaccines and The Sherlock’s and also Gaz Coombes. And then a surprise as Chris Kamara came on stage singing Marching on Together. And then the Kaiser Chiefs starting with a new song People Know How To Love One Another and then Never Miss A Beat, “ are we on the same page Leeds and we certainly were. A bath duck was thrown on stage a nod to the band’s forthcoming album. After Factory Gates and Parachute Ricky Wilson runs from the stage through the audience and climbs the steps to a platform and sings Modern Way. As darkness falls and the rain has stopped Every Day I Love You Less and Less and Ruby to an adoring crowd but this is just a “warm up” for I Predict A Riot and Angry Mob and then a beautiful, powerful version of The Who’s Pinball Wizard - absolutely great and then Oh My God. We all file out so happy what a band, what a night and I’m pictured on Leeds Live in my little woollen hat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, they rocked a small venue with sublime energy and music We took our 12 and 14 year old daughters who are used to big venues and this was a treat. To experience live music of this quality it was a joy to see them dance all night. Having seen them play the echo arena this was so fab as in up front and personal
