Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lake Street Dive Rock Bristol A gig in time honoured tradition whereby the live experience enhanced the existing album listening experience. Impressively accomplished quartet musically, much more of a powerful sound live than on record. Venue was new to us, liked it, good size space for full on atmosphere but not too big so close enough to the artist; sound /acoustics was very good indeed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An exuberant performance! Rachael looked stunning in a long red dress and her flowing hair: she even managed the Rita Hayworth flick of the hair on many occasions! Her vocal and physical energy were amazing, her exuberant performance was full of vitality and her own enjoyment of performing was evident in an almost ever-present smile. She had great engagement with the audience. She made interesting comments on the American presidential election, conceding that, as a band, they were privileged to do what we do, but recognised their need to put something beautiful back and stand up for what is right. I must also mention Basia Bulatt, the support artist, because I went to the gig primarily so hear here. I’d seen her at the Soup Kitchen in April where her singing was magnificent and her performance enchanting. The same applied here, perhaps all the more so as she was performing solo. She has a great presence on stage, but I also spoke to her for 5 minutes in the interval and she was delightful: so modest and with a charming sense of humour. She deserves to be appreciated by much bigger audiences: she writes such interesting lyrics and is such a talented musician.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic band This band should be much more well known and Rachel Price the lead singer has an incredible voice. No time wasing, they appeared on time and performed much of the album Side Pony plus some older (excellent) somngs and a couple of covers.
