Laurel Halo needs to understand that adding a bad jazz drummer to her electronic bloops doth not make a good ‘live’ show. What a disappointing translation of an amazing album.

I came all the way from Paris to experience this show :)
The general vibe was pretty dark, even in the physical sense (very little lights were present in this church). Pan Daijing expanded this darkness, bit too much for my taste actually, turned out very close to an (interesting) demon summoning experience.. Then Laurel Halo started, with a drummer by her side (great surprise!), still experimental yet much more human, full of refreshing feelings and harmony, her song "Do U Ever Happen" was Beautiful (most intense musical part of the night emotion-wise imho).
Acoustically speaking, as a church is a pretty reverberant space, it was hard to get a clear and sharp sound unless you were standing close to the sound source which wasn't my case for those 2 first acts.. Then we managed to get seats on the front row, and were ready to enter the LEE GAMBLE dimension.
Fog machines started, and a pure Light and Sonic life changing experience happened, conducted by the master. Incredible in every way, no words can describe what took place in this space and time. this man is a great Spirit of Music. Big thanks to Lee Gamble.
