Rated 4 out of 5 by from Magenta - rare live gig in London Magenta are a classy act for those that enjoy the melodic progressive rock aka genesis, yes, camel, renaissance, floyd etc. The Dome Tuffnell Park was ideal , albeit north London. Only disappointment was the choice of set list but still a great evening.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My favourite event of the year so far Went to see the Welsh band Magenta play a double album set at the Dome in Tuffnel Park. I bought a ticket in advance and printed off so could hand in on arrival. Was a bit disappointed nearer the time that the gig was said sold out so couldn't buy a second ticket for my partner who said she'd like to come too nearer the time. Tickets and website said band on 7pm , but I wasn't able to get there till 8pm so thought I'd miss the first album. Bit surprised to find a long queue outside at 8 of people wanting to get in and have there tickets checked. Turns out only half full hall. The band didn't go on till 8.30 so alright in the end. The lighting rig there pointed in the eyes of the first row of fans do you had to stand halfway back if you wanted to see anything. Unfortunately half the band were behind the light rig so you could never see the drummer or bass player. Sound was good, would go back again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant gig. Magenta are an exceptional live band and getting to hear them play all of 2004 album Seven and their most recent LP We are Legend made this gig even more special than usual.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great gig from an excellent band. I took my daughter and her boyfriend to this gig. I have seen Magenta live twice before and my daughter once. Her boyfriend had never seen them and was very impressed. The standard of musicianship was superb and the songs brilliant, but then I am a fan! The venue was good, sensibly priced beer including decent ale, and the support by Kinky Wizards was good, particularly as they were missing their guitar player and they are only a three piece :D
