Jazz hazz a future
Bang in the middle of the London Jazz Festival came its defining moment.
A crowd of children ( well most of them were below 40 so count as children to Me) turned up to a midweek spiritual jazz gig . A sold out show no less.
The car park venue gave the show an urban edge that the middle class audience doesn’t deserve to appropriate, the fact that it was the festivals most diverse crowd did feel significant.
This band have the fire, feeling and nearly the chops to take us forward.
If you’ve not picked up the Album stick you’re hand in your pocket now.
I would recommend the venue, the promoter and most of all the band.
Later Peckham cats .
