What people are saying about Man & The Echo

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The future of live gigs This was not just your average gig, it’s was performed as a show there were costume changes, little skits, the musical themed playlist prior to the show set the fun mood and the set itself was just tune after tune! These guys are so under rated it’s untrue! They get better every time I see them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A brilliant band A cool and quirky venue for a cool and quirky band. Catchy songs with clever lyrics and thought provoking social commentary. Man & The Echo really are excellent and deserve great success. Really hoping they head back to Leeds soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Pomp Party gets my vote... Best gig I’ve seen in a long time. A ‘musical theatre experience’ across 5 acts with great tunes, intelligent lyrics and top banter. These guys should be huge but gigs like this kind of make you glad they aren’t. Go see them...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Clever, funny and brilliant pop tunes! Man and the Echo played at the Joiners on Saturday the 8th of February and it was a joyful show. They flinch from the description of also being a comic act and rightly so. In the same vein as early Arctic Monday’s and Pulp their songs tell heart felt stories full of amusing characters but it’s not a gag. The songs would best be described as “knowing “ and they will definitely transport you. They are also very able musicians and performers. I spent the entire gig with a big smile on my face. There was not a single song that didn’t engage with the audience. These guys should already be a much bigger band! Go and see them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my favourite bands I've seen these guys a couple of times before...Isle of Wight festival 2015 on a very wet evening, we dived into a small stage/tent and Man and the Echo took to the stage and I've loved their music since. So to see them on their first headline tour was amazing...music to make you smile...think...and dance too. A must see band on the way up

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing support band I went to see this with my friends and we all agree that the support band, "The Pitchforks" were absolutely amazing. By far better than the other two bands. Highly recommend that band. They are a must see.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Man and the echo and sugermen The Deaf Institute is up there as one of the best music venues for me. Brilliant support from Sugermen, full of energy and banging tunes. Man and the echo were top, witty and clever lyrics and musically tight. Great night!!
