Great Gig
Martin and his band were absolutely superb. Playing many Tull classics not heard for years. Brilliant guitar playing fron Martin. Just superb. All Tull fans should see his performances

A Great Gig
I have been a long time Tull fan but seldom get the chance to go to gigs so it was fantastic to see Martin live and in such an intimate venue. I hope he plays there again some time soon.

Excellent band all round.
I went to this gig at Warehouse 23 with friends. It was my first visit to the warehouse, and the Martin Barre Band was excellent, however the evening was spoilt by two members of staff talking so loud that we could hear them on the more quieter numbers, which still meant we could hear them over 3 guitars, drums and vocal, which gives you some idea how loud they were. A guy at the side of me shouted asking them to tone it down, but they ignored him. Shame because otherwise the venue is pretty good.

Band are on top form at start of Euro Tour
I’ve seen them recently, at Keighley in April - Just the second night of the start of their 2018 European Tour, but straight out of the blocks we find the master at his best.
As the show got into its stride the licks just got better and better with Martin and the band blending the old Tull numbers with classy blues and ‘Back to Steel’ Numbers.
It may be some months away but I’m already looking forward to Wakefield’s gig as there’ll be the ‘soon to be released’ new album material to enjoy. Dan Crisp - brilliant - breathes new life and a stronger (than aging IA) voice to the classic tracks of Jethro Tull.
As Martin sprinted to the shows finish line there was ‘New Day Yesterday’ to savour with an almost flying leap off Stage to thundering applause. Then an encore performance and literal drum kit explosion
A memorable evening at the Keighley gig I was at which was topped off by a nice chat with Martin afterwards. A real treat - so the Wakefield date in November is one not to be missed.

Brilliant
Martin Barre and his band were brilliant as usual.
The energy he has for a nearly 71 year old is incredible. His guitar playing is legendary. What a shame that he is not considered up there with the greats.
Dan Crisp the lead singer does a great job and it’s good to hear the Tull songs sung by someone who hasn’t lost their voice (sorry Ian but time to retire).
