What people are saying about Massive Attack

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth waiting 13 years for! Massive Attack finally came home, and their gig on the Clifton Downs was everything I imagined, despite the pouring rain! Best gig by far, and it was fabulous to hear Bristol's finest sing all those songs I've listened to over and over again! Primal Scream and Skepta were fabulous support acts, as well as all the other wonderful artists who graced the stages that afternoon/evening.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Great concert but wished they had played some more familiar stuff not all the new stuff

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Massive Attack were a let down. Very few hits played and sharing the bill with the more obscure Young Fathers (or Young Farmers as my wife thought they were) was pointless. Sound wasn't great - blown around by the wind and rain. 30 minute queue for toilets and an hour for the bar. Good job we smuggled in a bag of wine. Primal Scream rocked. Savages, the coolest band on the planet, absolutely stole it with their smouldering look and amazing sound.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best Had it not been for primal scream I'd probably have fallen asleep. Without doubt the worst home coming ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Damp but Massive (Attack) Totally memorable event. Discard the ques (where we met/talked to really nice people). Overall performances were professional and the rain added to the 'mood' of a stonking set from the Massive. Loved every moment (even the Armageddon downpours at the end). Epic!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great event but some improvements needed for next year! It's fantastic to see a large-scale music event in Bristol, especially with local legends Massive Attack sitting at the top of the bill. They put on a great show - sound, lights and guest performances were all incredible, and the rest of the line-up were first-rate. The day was not without its shortcomings, however. Come 6 o'clock queues were reaching an hour wait or more, which meant missing acts and ruined the flow of the festival. Drinks were also overpriced - which is somewhat to be expected at a festival, but not so much at over £4 for a can of beer - and they also ran out of certain drinks early on in the evening. The perpetual wet weather was very unfortunate and whilst obviously not the fault of the organisers, it would be nice to see more shelter for further years to accommodate for downpours or extreme heat. Overall the event was a success and with a few improvements made it would be awesome to see the festival return to the Downs in years to come.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Team Love took the p*SS Badly organised and run. Over priced drinks and food. Appalling queue times. An event they should be truly ashamed of.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic day and night, thanks for arranging We got there in the afternoon, got in without the difficulty some later folks experienced, saw some cracking bands and had a fantastic evening, thanks to all involved.
