......now I know more
.....the narrative was very engaging. The writing and acting was of a high standard (if at times a bit unremittingly shouty *) and I was impressed by the author’s illumination of the major topic in society, through action confined within the claustrophobia of a conflicted family parlour. What might have passed me by was the relevance (or not) of the characters being Irish.........
* the introduction of some soft passages between the brothers would have helped the dynamics of the piece.
the fiddly nature of fathers wound was irritating.....something larger scale
would have seemed more significant.
