What people are saying about Neighbourhood Festival

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Neighbourhood Festival Great day, I work at Manchester University so stored a case of Guinness in the fridge and hit while walking between the venues. All fantastic venues, only disappointment was missing Squid at the Deaf Institute but that was because they were one of the first bands of the festival and people hadn't migrated to other venues after picking up their wrist bands. I got to see:- 9:30 Fat White Family - Albert hall 7:45 The Blinders - Albert Hall 6:30 Big Moon - Albert Hall 5:45 The K's - Manchester Acadamy 2 3:30 Curfew - Manchester Acadamy 2:15 The Sherlocks - Manchester Acadamy 1:30 Bloxx - Bread Shed 12:30 Dirty Laces - Bread Shed

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor organising The queue for every bar we went to was excruciating. 30-40mins even for some of the smaller bands. Missed everyone we wanted to see really. Better planning needed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best city festival I've been Neighbourhood festival was held in various live music venues in Manchester city center, with maximum walking distance between them of 20 minutes. The atmosphere in the town center was buzzing and town was full of music fans and bands. I managed to see 9 different bands in 5 different venues. I had an amazing time enjoying live music!! Every venue was well organised and everything was on time!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good event for upcoming artists I Thought this festival was great. Lots of acts to see and great to see small acts being able to play as there are so many venues. The one thing I would like to see improved for next year is the queuing to get into venues. Also wish the festival didn’t put “larger” acts in smaller venues such as Gorilla as it just disappoints fans who want to see acts. Also the clashes are sometimes disapointing. Overall a great festival, would definitely go again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value for money, fantastic lineup I met up with an old friend, for Neighbourhood. It was the perfect opportunity to see some brilliant bands and still have time inbetween all the venues to catch up. Being new to Manchester, this was very helpful for seeking out some new favourite venues I wouldn’t have found alone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Was the best 1-day festival out tgere I went with my mates and it was w great way to discover some of the big venues in Manchester city, very nice - though get to your stages where your favourite band is playing for the act before to catch them!
