What people are saying about Never Fade Sessions

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An intimate acoustic set by Ward Thomas I have been aware of the Never Fade sessions for over two years but only managed to attend one of these evenings in March 2017 when Catherine McGrath was headlining a country & Americana evening. When I read that UK country duo Lizzy & Catherine Ward-Thomas were on the guest list I realised I needed to see Ward-Thomas last Monday 11th June. Usually Lizzy & Catherine are headlining arena gigs, festivals & so having an opportunity to see the twins in an intimate was not to be missed. The evening opened with Melanie Baker, a singer songwriter from Cumbria. Melanie played alone firstly on guitar then on keyboards. Then Jamie played his set solo & he played guitar. Lizzy & Catherine arrived on stage accompanied by three musicians, who played the music & the twins sung. The six songs were all new to me. Lizzy & Catherine explained that they are working on a new album about their view on the way the world is today. There were some avid fans in the audience who were not disappointed that the twins only played new material without playing their "hits". I also enjoyed hearing these songs & the stories behind them. The evening finished with a London based singer songwriter called Alice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome acoustic event in the centre of London This was a great little gig with several stellar performances. The room was packed, the atmosphere was delicately ecstatic, the music was sublime.
