Norah Jones takes the COOLJAZZ stage for a concert with her own signature revisiting the successes of her career. A multi-awarded jazz artist with a singular voice, Norah Jones is one of the most relevant artists of her generation, transforming her into a global phenomenon.

João Só brings a special guest Mónica Teotónio, guaranteeing a trip through his 10 years of career. Author of songs such as "Sorte Grande", "Não Sou Eu" or "Maldita Hora", he will perform for the first time at the festival. On the evening of July 29^th, Manuel Oliveira Trio will also be playing on the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM. Versatile in style, he promotes a more chilled environment or a more dynamic performance, always giving the ideal intensity to each moment of the performance.

Always sailing between jazz, country, folk and soul, Norah Jones creates albums that mark us by their subtle complexity. “The Fall” (2009), “Little Broken Hearts” (2012), “Day Breaks” (2016), “Pick Me Up Off The Floor” (2020), the live album “'Til We Meet Again” (2021) and her first Christmas album “I Dream Of Christmas” (2021), are some of the several albums she has edited in the last decade and which have been soothed by the critics. Iconic songs like "Dont Know Why", "Come Away with Me", "Sunrise", "Turn on Me", "Those Sweet Words" have over 1 billion streams on Spotifiy. Over the course of her 20-year career - first release dates back to 2002 with the album "Come Away With Me" - Jones has won nine Grammys throughout her career and also has a parallel acting career.

João Só, author of songs like "Sorte Grande", "Não Sou Eu" or "Maldita Hora". Influenced by the Beatles, GNR, Oasis, Clã, Sérgio Godinho, Rui Veloso, Elvis Costello, and Jorge Palma, João Só began composing at 15. In 2023, he published the new song "O teu refrão" and in 2022, the EP "e não só". João Só has a discography that began in 2009, with his first album "João Só e Abandonados", followed by "Coração no Chão" in 2013, "Até Que A Morte Nos Separe" in 2015, "O Bom Rebelde" in 2018 and, in 2021, "Nada é Pequeno No Amor". Throughout his career, he has collaborations with national artists such as Miguel Araújo, Lúcia Moniz, Teresinha Landeiro, Ana Bacalhau, among others. The Portuguese artist invites Mónica Teotónio for an unprecedented moment on the COOLJAZZ stage.

Manuel Oliveira Trio will perform on the Cascais Jazz Sessions Stage by Smooth FM. Manuel Oliveira, 23 years old, studies music and piano since he was 10 years old. He studied first at Musicentro in Lisbon where he is a Piano teacher and later at the Escola Superior de Música. Currently he is part of the projects of artists like Ana Bacalhau, Buba Espinho, Milhanas, among others, where he records in studio and performs live.

COOLJAZZ HAS 3 CONCERTS PER NIGHT
