Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brilliant but flawed 45 minutes of stunning music but too much of a jam session to close the show.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unreal As soon as they started playing the atmosphere was the most intense feeling I've ever felt. Every song was fantastic and the crowd just added to it. Had to sit down at one point cause it was too intense. Absolutely recommend seeing the Oh Sees. Best gig hands down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect venue for Oh Sees I’ve see this band in different venues and the Albert Hall was a perfect fit! Being able to look down onto the band from the horse shape balcony was a treat. John Dwyer’s antics and general movement is enough to capture ones eye, however, I found myself fixated on synchronism of the drummers. Their ability to play in sync with such energy is very impressive. Those dancing in ‘pit’ appeared to be completely enthused until the end. The only criticism was the merchandise guy was also the sound guy and therefore left a number of disgruntled shoppers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excursion to elsewhere. Thundering twin drummers and terrifying bass drive laying down a rumbling foundation to John Dwyer’s madman genius demented wraith lead. With dual octave register vocals this machine gun guitar toting savant delivered an unpredictable broadside of garage psych rock that left us as overwhelmed as if we had just avoided an approaching train by diving between the tracks. A manoeuvre you would not want to miss. Supported by the flat worms 3 piece perfection cut to the quick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great performance Oh Sees were one of my gigs of last year and I couldn't wait to see them again, especially with Flatworms supporting. Fab gig with Beak a pleasant surprise as I didn't know a lot about them before this which is odd considering the Portishead connection. I guess he keeps this project low-key. Anyway, both supports were great as well as totally different. The main event was just as breath-taking as last time despite the bigger venue. Speaking of which, all the acts were selling merch in the pub next door as they claimed the venue wanted too much of a cut. They also seemed unhappy with increased ticket prices although it sold out and I didn't feel it was over-priced but there was obviously some bad feeling between the acts and the venue company.
