What people are saying about Peter Pan - An Arena Spectacular

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great spectacular We went to this event as a family ranging in age from 78 to 10 years and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Some of our party were from the USA and thought it was a great experience as they have nothing like it in the states. The cast were all marvellous

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peter Pan I went with my wife and four grandsons 3,5,11 & 13 of age. The spectacular was second to none. The only downsize was that having queued to get to main entrance l was then directed to box office to change See Tickets into correct bar coded tickets. Why could we have not received these tickets or let us know we would have to undertake this time wasting discipline.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular Thank goodness the performance was amazing. The travel arrangements were horrendous. Try to get from Nottingham to Birmingham should have been easy but a cross country strike left us stranded. With two young children having their first train experience it was a disaster but Peter Pan made it all worthwhile

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A waste of 2 hours of my life! This was a HUGE disappointment. In view of the venue and the marketing of 'the world's biggest Pantomime' I assumed it would be a massive production - Peter Pan would be flying over our heads - the 100 strong cast members would be skipping throughout the vast auditorium to include and engage the whole audience etc - but no, the stage is small, the characters tiny so, even on the screens either side, you can't really appreciate the nuances of the jokes. The atmosphere was zero. Bradley Walsh, who I've seen in Panto many times and love, seemed to be just going through the motions of saying his lines and pumping out the odd joke, and Martin Kemp didn't ham it up at all. The flying scenes were no more than a bit of up and down, backwards and forwards over the stage, and the crocodile, although seemingly impressive when he first appeared, was a complete let down - he could have at least opened his mouth wide enough to swallow Captain Hook, rather than him going up and patting him on the head. I would have left at half time if I didn't have my son with me. It wasn't until the train ride home that he told me he'd have happily left half way through too! Oh and on the station platform all I could hear were fellow punters bemoaning what a dreadful show it was. I think if you're going to put something on of that scale you've got to think much, much bigger. Such a shame.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great show. Beware see tickets are not 'tickets' The show was brilliant. See tickets however sent what we thought where tickets but Wembley staff didn't know what they were so after lots of confusion the box office said they were voucher. No where on ticket did it say to exchange them or on emails. Made for a stressful arrival.
