My number one concern when seeing a tribute band I haven't seen before is the quality of the vocals; for Re Floyd I was very pleasantly surprised - lead vocals were really good in 'Gilmour' style and backing vocals too were first-class. Next comes the quality of music, and for Floyd this means firstly lead guitar - which was brilliant - Comfortably Numb was to die for, and saxophone - which was superb. This takes nothing away from keyboards, drums and bass guitar which were also faultless, but you know how it is with Floyd. My only disappointment (which may be my own fault because I had to leave before any encore) was that Great Gig in the Sky was missed, which is always my favourite, and gives one of the female backing vocalists the chance to truly shine.
Small venue, small audience, big sound - would recommend.
