What people are saying about Rival Sons

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great band poor venue Band were excellent in a led zep, humble pie type rock style. They played all the new songs and all were accepted well by the packed crowd. The venue was terrible to find, people bumping into people in the street with sat navs on trying to locate it. Then when we get there we find a queue 200yds long waiting for the doors to open while it’s snowing outside!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A marvellous gig a fantastic band I have always enjoyed listening to Rival Sons and I managed to catch them on a short support slot with Black Sabbath. It was simply too good an opportunity to miss when they announced the short run of U.K. gigs. Tickets bought, accommodation sorted we headed to Birmingham. We have previously seen The Sheepdogs and they provided an excellent opening show. Rival Sons, what a voice what power. You have to catch them an amazpowerful singer and by far one of the best gigs I have seen. They used a lot of material from Ferla Roots and a few older but favourite songs. If I could I would have travelled to London to catch them again. Do not miss them on the next tour. My only disappointment was the apparent lack of merchandising- possibly something in the stalls but I asked Showsec who couldn’t answer my query.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The greatest rock band of the last decade. Destined for greatness. This was my 16th Rival Sons gig. A showcase of primarily new material from the Feral Roots album. As usual it was a fantastic gig full of great tunes, positive vibes and blues infused rock n roll. Amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best voice and band, coolest looking too Perfect location to see this amazing band, sound was great, Jay's voice was totally unbelievable and when they unexpectedly did 'Jordan' ... well ... goosebumps. Loved it. Best gig in years! Can't wait to see them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two of my favourite bands on one night! Rival sons left my ears ringing and my voice hoarse from singing along! It was a great night of music. The sheepdogs from Canada are an excellent band. This was the fourth time we’ve seen them and they never disappoint. The only negative was the Rival Sons stage lighting. Square panels of bulbs that blinded the audience rather than enhance the experience

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best band on the planet. Travelled 150 miles with my two sons and a mate of mine to see this awesome band. Our third time seeing them live and they never disappoint and what a great venue the O2 Academy is. Big shout also for the Sheepdogs who contributed hugely to a great evening. Come back soon and hopefully to the BIC in Bournemouth!!
