What people are saying about Royal Pavilion Ice Rink

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great day out This was a fantastic day walking around brighton and then to the ice skating. The only thing was the lockers wernt big enough so had to pay for 2. I didn't mind so much but it didn't give you the £1 back. And the bar were quite Unhelpful when i wanted to change 2 50ps. It wasn't really sign posted and there were no signs to say they had a bar or any thing so we didn't reaslise till we went in. Other than that it was fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ice skating pavilion We've been skating with kids here for few years now. Very well organised. Staff nice and friendly. Never seems too full on the ice. Bar wel stocked. It's not cheap for an hours family skating but then we only go once a year!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The kids session is a shambles I booked the Rinkidink session for myself and my four year old. There were not nearly enough penguins for the small kiddies and he was unable to skate unaided as he's so small. And quite nervous The first ten kids or so in the queue get a penguin to skate with and the remainder stand at the edge of the rink waiting for a turn which never comes as the penguins are not shared but instead are taken to the large rink once those original kids get a bit more confidence. This then means that the waiting kids have an even smaller pool of penguins to wait hopefully for a turn with in the smaller kids rink. Suggestions: 1) staff enforce a ten minute time limit per penguin thereby enforcing sharing 2) children waiting could have a sticker saying "I'm waiting for a penguin" to highlight the fact that they are waiting and encourage sharing by others 3) I would have happily paid to book a penguin in advance- this could be an option too 4) at the very least consider a pop up box advising there is a very small number of penguins when you book an under 5 ticket so that it is more obvious that you are unlikely to get your hands on one as the current wording about the penguins is small and not easily seen

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brighton Pavilion Ice Rink Beautiful venue right in front of the pavilion with the sun shining. My daughter has wanted to go for a skate since before Christmas but we were able to until this week. Had a fantastic time. The staff were very helpful from storing our stuff in the lockers to getting our skates sorted. We will go back for the last week end this Sunday. Can’t wait till next year.
