What people are saying about Shappi Khorsandi

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Latest Confessions show is very funny and interesting Shappi tells her stories in a very engaging way. Particularly funny were her anecdotes related to her appearance on I’m A Celebrity. Her show was enjoyed by friends of both genders and we would all recommend this highly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Small venue that made the comic element better I will say that some of the show towards the end seemed the same as previous when I have seen her. The tickets were better value.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very disappointing evening. I had seen Ms Khorsandi on television and enjoyed her performances. It was great to hear that she was coming to Cornwall and so I booked tickets for myself and my husband to see her. The show started on time at 20.00hrs with Ms Khorsandi introducing Mark Steel as her 'warm up' act. This was a bonus, as I listen regularly to Radio 4 and have heard Mr Steels programmes on there regularly. It was great to see him live. His comedy was good - really funny. At 20.30 Ms Khorsandi returned to the stage, told us that there would be a 15 minute intermission and she would be in the foyer selling her book. This felt really odd to me, as the show had only just got going. It didn't feel right. At 20.45ish the show resumed. Ms Khorsandi's performance was mixed. She was, to my mind, 40% funny, 40% boring and 20% seemingly losing her track/train of thought/fluffing her gags. I really didn't enjoy it and would not go out of my way to see her again. It basically felt that she was filling time between being able to flog her book.
