Experience the unique relationship of trust and partnership that only exists between a human and a working horse. The day consists of grooming horses and the unique care that Shire horses require; learning how the harness functions as a means of safety and communication; listening and interpreting the horses' non-verbal signals; and discovering how the work you're doing is totally relevant for today's natural world.

Please note: No refunds unless organisers have to cancel the event Important practicalities: we keep following best practice and ask everyone to keep appropriate distances. Please dress appropriately as all activity takes place outside. Sturdy footwear around horses is required. We do not have catering facilities, please bring a flask and a packed lunch.
