So Pleased I Went
I had only heard of Sons Of Bill a few weeks beforehand, bought their new album, and was delighted to notice they were appearing locally. I'm so pleased I had chance to go, they were wonderful - great music, superb musicianship, and meeting them afterwards was a real privilege. Support artist Carl Anderson was also brilliant, I got his last CD as well [a new one should be out shortly]. My only gripe is the very limited seating at this venue, and now they are roping off part of the seating area for equipment & sound desk. I did find a seat but had to stand up during the performance in order to see. Some of us of a certain age find it very difficult to stand for so long, and it's difficult to enjoy the music properly if you don't feel comfortable. This may be put me off future gigs there - pity, because the people who run them are just wonderful.

One of my highlights of the year.
What a great gig with that rare commodity a great support act,Carl Anderson was brilliant in support and reappeared later in theSons of Bill set.Son of Bill really are a great overlooked band and put in a great set in support of the new album, which again could possibly be there best. The Brudenell is a great venue and supports many acts both old and new.If there was a downside it was the sparse crowd which hopefully won't happen next time Sons of Bill grace us with a British tour.

A very disappointing gig
I like the band a lot and was looking forward to the show . Sadly I left before the end the sound mix was dreadful vocals drowned out by over loud drums and bass
