left wanting more!
The support bands were surprisingly good, a it different to what I normally listen to, Cheap Lunch had a great mix of psychedelic rock mixed with tinges of punk and metal and created a trippy vibe. Slift were a bit more mainstream psychedelic with tinges of Hawkwind and even Groundhogs but created a good atmosphere. the venue could have done with some brighter lighting for the stage!
Stonefield came on and were just awe inspiring, so much power and soul from what seemed to be very little gear! an abrupt finish with no encore was a shock but as they explained after the gig "leave them wanting more!" which they certainly did! a lovely bunch of lasses who were happy to talk to fans and sign albums. Only wish there were more people at the gig.
