Here's just how good the world thinks Dinara is
The town is justly excited that a new young pianist coming to perform in Worthing is doing so on the back of a classical CD acclaimed immediately by some of the great world names in her profession. And it's a CD interpreting some of the most expressive and challenging solo piano music ever deliberately written for those two purposes.
All 12 pieces have descriptive names and Dinara, 26, has been in love with some of these pieces since a child.
Top-rung acknowledgment of Dinara’s Transcendental Études recording began with Hungarian maestro Andràs Schiff naming her among his three emerging pianists signed up for his international Building Bridges concert series both sides of the Atlantic, and saying this:
“Dinara Klinton’s performance of Liszt’s Transcendental Études is astonishing. She is a real virtuoso, a born pianist, a very natural player."
And here is what the longest-established of review magazines says:
“This recording holds its own again all comers . . . a most musical account of this masterpiece” – Gramophone
Dinara Klinton's CD goes by Liszt’s actual title for the music - Études d´exécution transcendante. Read some more reviews at the GENUIN record label website page
The attached video includes words to camera from Dinara. It was around when the recording was made at the famous Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Germany, and she has had a year since then in which her accent has further ironed out!
