What people are saying about The LOVE Band Featuring Johnny Echols

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A legendary band in a legendary venue My maiden visit to the Brudenell was an amazing experience, from the availability of a parking spot to the Pie and Mash and a Pint for £7 and an amazing concert by one of the bands I've been listening to for 50 years since I bought Forever Changes in 1968. Will certainly visit the Brudenell again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If it's farewell, what a way to go!! First time to the excellent venue, The Hare and Hounds, King's Heath, Birmingham. Will definitely keep an eye on this venue in the future! Very intimate environment with great vibe!! The Love Band clearly enjoyed the the close proximity to the very knowledgeable and enthusiastic audience. They could do no wrong and delivered a brilliant set covering the full history of Love. Homage was paid to the mighty Johnny Echols and the quality of musicianship was supreme!! So sad it's farewell but left us with glorious memories of the band so much associated with 'our boy' Arthur (Lee).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The band were awesome. The band were awesome they were even better than when I saw them in York a couple of year back. All four of us thought it was great and two pals didn't really know the music before. We have 2 converts, I thoroughly enjoyed it and so it seems did everybody else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fantastic gig. Love are one of my favourite bands of all time and I thought I'd blown my chance of ever seeing them when Arthur Lee died. When the Love band and Johnny Echols announced they were going to be in Leeds, and this was possibly the very last chance of seeing them in the UK then I had to go. The gig was amazing, it's fair to say that not only did the Love Band play tribute to the band 'Love' they genuinely honoured the name and work of Arthur Lee, Bryan McLean, Johnny Echols et al. Indeed it was a humbling experience finally getting to hear some of the best music ever written live. A brilliant night In a great smaller venue (which in itself is a rarity.) I cannot praise the evening enough.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great gig I’ve seen the Love band quite a few times when Arthur was alive and performing with them, but never with Johnny Echols. It was a really good gig and I’m very pleased I made the 220 mile round trip to see them.
