What people are saying about The Proclaimers

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Venue to big I came from england specially to see the proclaimers . it was too big a venue even if you had exceptional good seats, very disappointed and would not chose to see another band at this venue. Sound was not that good. I love the proclaimers and have seen them in a smaller venue and the were simply brilliant, sorry to write this revue

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best gigs I've been to. Gig with the hub. I'm a massive fan.... He's OK with them. You get the pic. I thought it was one of the best gigs I've attended... Hub enjoyed it very much. They just get better and better. They come on, sing one song after another. No messing... Does what it says on the tin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Proclaimers Blackpool August 2019 I was a little concerned at seeing The Proclaimers in a traditional 'theatre' environment , believing it would be difficult to generate crowd involvement/enthusiasm.The Proclaimers generally don't go in for small talk tending to crack on from one piece to the next so I was surprised to see them reading out requests from various anniversaries/birthdays etc and this endeared them to the audience even more.Halfway through the set and the the whole place was rocking as they belted out 'Life with You' and 'Sunshine on Leith', I was in the dress circle and everybody was up for '500 miles'. The well deserved encore featured my favourite.. 'Make my heart fly' and 'The joyful Kilmarnock blues'. We couldn't get tickets for sold out Scotland performances and so made a weekend of it in Blackpool and the Opera House on a Saturday night made it all worthwhile. As an aside the support act Junior Brother was treated with scant respect by the majority of the audience and although it was a difficult listen a kind of culchie Bob Dylan/Seasick Steve hybrid (no offenceJunior),he deserved more attention.I wish the venue would close the doors to latecomers, most of us made it..even the The Procalimers were on time but to turn up ten minutes into the headline performance and still apparently have found time to stop and get a drink at the bar to bring in and have everybody distracted or making way for them is very irritating. If you get a chance to see The Proclaimers live then I urge you to take it, you won't regret it!
