Biggest thing at the Leadmill since the Arctic Monkeys
It’s been well over a decade since sold out Leadmill gigs launched the Arctic Monkeys off on a journey into the Indie stratosphere, but could history be about to repeat itself? Based on this sold out performance by The Reytons I’d say that there’s every chance.
If swagger counts for anything then the answer is a definite yes, because lead singer Jonny Yerrell has it to match the best of them. They’ve got the set list for it as well. Just have a listen to Reckless, Slice of Lime, Kids Off The Estate, Billy Big Bollocks, Could Do Better, Clare’s Law and the rest.
Amazingly still unsigned and not that well known yet outside Yorkshire, I would advise you to get to one of the gigs on their forthcoming tour while you can still get in for under a tenner and get bragging rights about being one of the first to see them. I don’t expect that situation to last very long.
I’ve put my money where my mouth is already and got tickets for Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds.
