What people are saying about The Rolling Stones Havana Moon

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed The event was very uncomfortable, pack in like sardines. I was expecting cinema /theater seat. Paid over £90 for tickets , never again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ALMOST LINE ACTUALLY BEING AT THE CONCERT Fabulous “concert”. We had the best seats, perfect view of the screen. Cuban dancers added to the atmosphere. Great evening.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A big disappointment Not worth the inflated prices being charged. The cinema in Bath was less than half full - in the days before the event tickets were being offered at half price, and when we arrived we were 'upgraded' from circle to the stalls. This event is billed as an 'immersive experience'. It isn't. Rebel Vision (the organisers) boast of 'cutting-edge cinematic technology'. We saw conventional digital projection commonplace in many or most modern cinemas today, spoilt by intrusive and out-dated lighting which dazzled and distracted from the film being screened. The supporting act was a group of Cuban dancers. If you are keen on salsa, this might be of interest - it seemed pretty competent to me. But nothing to do with the Stones. They danced for ten or fifteen minutes before the film, and then throughout the film they would dance down the aisles. Serious distraction from what might have been a good film of an interesting event. Some of the audience danced, of course - but I think if the light show and the professional dancers had not dominated the event so much, a lot more people might have got up to dance to the usual numbers - me and my partner included. A feeble attempt was made to make the foyer look Cuban, with half a big old American car (fake, I think) and a few palm trees. The dancers greeted you as you came in and as you went out. You could have your photograph taken with the dancers at the end, or sitting in the 'car'. Rebel Vision have taken what might be a film worth watching, and made it difficult to see (because of the crude light show and the distracting dancers). Not 'added value' but quite the opposite. Don't waste your money!
