Rated 5 out of 5 by from As Good As Ever I bought my first Stranglers album in 1977 and have been going to see them ever since. They were as good as ever and I took a friend who had not really listened to them and he said how good it was.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stranglers still the titans of the punk era. This gig was a surprise birthday present, we were seated high in the circle but with a commanding view of the stage, the anticipation was electric as the lights dimmed and the other world sound of Waltz in Black resounded around this old theatre, the deep red spot lights illuminating the Art Deco ceiling, then there are the men in black launching into Curfew from the Black and White album. Next up Get a Grip (and you should Know) then new songs and and many hits coming thick and fast; the light show visuals enhancing, JJ and Baz commanding floor level stage, Dave Greenfield and Drums on elevated riser, familiar favourites Golden Brown, Always The Sun, Peaches then rarities Don’t Bring Harry, Bear Gage and Go Buddy Go. This was all the more special as it was the last night of the tour and as the song says There Are No More Heroes Any More.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So good to see The Stranglers again. After waiting 38 years to see them, I first saw them play at the o2apollo 2yrs ago. They were good then but even more awesome second time around. They played and sang for 2 hours!! Sounded sharp and fresh but still.with that unmistakable Stranglers sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My best day every year The Stranglers playing to a packed out M/cr Apollo and as usual gave 100% in what was an excellent performance. In the set they included all their big hits and a few album tracks some re-worked sounding better than ever and a brand new track was performed which was fantastic. The Stranglers never stop touring and get better each year. Can’t wait for next time and album number 18.
