Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a gig! Explosive, beautiful a marriage of Alice Coltrane, Neu, Beefheart and others with of course elements of My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth. To my ears quite wonderful. On fire! Wonderful support acts with nods to the Silver Apples, a pagan delight

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally Great! I had not been to the Classic Grand in Glasgow before but immediately you could tell it was a good place to be. Cost of drinks were reasonable but I wish they had some beer on tap. Anyway, been enjoyingThurston Moore for years but this was truly different and extremely good. Only one instrumental soundtrack 75 minutes long but WOW, what a sound. Three guitars, drums and electronics. It might well be the best thing I've heard this year.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good gig but wanted more Played new album which has 5 songs, I kind of wanted more than the feedback guitar during and inbetween songs, thought he cut the gig short to sign albums as the gig finished at 22:00 and started at 20:45. I'm a big sonic youth fan, own all there albums and saw them 3 times, perhaps you just want them 4 min tunes. Been spoiled before on dirty album with pavement supporting barrowlands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old Friends and New Discoveries Another fantastic night in The Eastend. Thurston Moore brought his new band to Glasgow and it had all the guitar goodness you would expect from the great man. Highlight of the evening for me though, had to be the support band Curdle! With tunes that ranged from fuzzed out 60s girl band to riot grrrl snarling. A great evenings entertainment!
