Rated 5 out of 5 by from It was lit Absolute scenes when Loyle Carner appeared though. The crowd couldn't handle it. I saw someone hysterically sobbing... ok it was me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst venue I’ve ever been to @ Printworks, Canada Water. It was a great idea to have high-vised marshalls directing the way to the venue from the tube station, only it would’ve been more handy to tell me to go the right way. When I reached the side of the water, next to the big car park, I asked ‘is it this way?’ and the marshall said yes. Luckily I had a friend in the venue and after texting her ‘walking through a big car park in London like this feels weird’ she told me that actually I didn’t need to walk through the car park and that I should’ve carried on walking straight down. Anyway, I got to the venue and we went in and it was all good. Until we went to the lockers. I have never been to a venue where cloakroom/lockers cost more than £2-3. This place charges £6 for a small locker and £9 for a large. With an added £10 deposit for the purchase of your locker key (refundable). I’m still so stunned, they obviously need all the money they can get here, so think they can charge so much that people have to take out a loan to use the lockers. (I dont know if you can tell but I didn’t use the lockers) Then we got to the stage. This place is the weirdest shape, it makes no sense to host gigs here. It’s super long and thin. Great if you’re at the front (as is everywhere) but after about four rows of people you can’t see anything. Please take this literally. I could not see a single thing, I might as well have closed my eyes. Couldn’t even see the stage, let alone Tom. This venue doesn’t cater for people at the sides or people at the back. Because I couldn’t see anything, and because we were right next to the speakers, it felt like I was just listening to Tom on my phone at home, which is definitely not the vibe I paid for. So we went to leave early (which I’ve never done at a gig before) because we really weren’t enjoying ourselves, only when it became time to leave we couldn’t get out. We followed the signs to the exit and when we got there the bloke said it was on the opposite side of the venue. So we walked to the opposite side of the venue and the lady there said that bloke’s wrong and that the exit is on the opposite side of the venue to her. I explained to her where exactly the bloke was and she said ‘yep that’s the exit. I don’t know why he’s saying you can’t go out that way’. So we head back to the original exit and one of the staff points to a new exit we hadn’t seen before, which turned out to be the real exit. On this issue, the signs to the ladies’ toilets are all over the place. One sign points outside and when you go to be let outside they tell you that the ladies is around the corner, which must be very annoying for the staff who guards that exit. I imagine that she got very bored very quickly explaining to everyone that actually the sign she’s stood next to is wrong. In summary, this gig was a shambles from start to finish. It’s a shame because my friend and I hadn’t seen Tom before and were really looking forward to it. I hope everyone else enjoyed their night but I will definitely not be returning to Printworks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Literally the worst venue ever for this gig Went to see Tom Misch at a venue that was completely inappropriate - no one but the first row could see him, none of the sound traveled and the music level was so low that you could hear everyone's conversations around you. It was hugely overpriced and disappointing - please do not put a gig there again. Genuinely ruined the experience.
