What people are saying about Trembling Bells

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Trembling Bells were amazing and I'm really cheesed off I haven't seen them before. They are one hundred times a live band in my opinion and I shall definitely be going to see them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best yet Seen the Trembling Bells a couple of times over the last few years and this was actually the best yet, I was actually disappointed when they stopped playing their new album and played their older hits as the new album is brilliant. Disappointed is a relative term as the older hits are still great. The bands stage presence is great and they interact well with the audience. The venue was fine, no issues and the beer was as good as ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent gig in the intimate Brudenell Games Room A great set with new and old songs from quiet duets to full-on band performances topped by Lavinia's soaring vocals, and even a four-part harmony! Really enjoyed Killing Time in London Fields, Wide Majestic Aire, Tween the Womb and the Tomb and the final Just As The Rainbow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My favourite live band in the UK currently Trembling Bells are one of those amazing live acts that are something of a 'best kept secret' it seems! I've seen them 4 times in less than a year, this being the first time outside London (Cardiff). Although the venue was 'compact' TB never give less than a full-on performance and a varied set from their back catalogue which is equally exciting - a folk/ prog/ country/ pop/ medieval hybrid by a band who have unassumingly crafted their magical sound whilst always sounding vital and fresh and different to everybody else. Vocalist/ keyboardist/ guitarist Lavinia Blackwall has one of the most beautiful, crystalline soprano voices you will ever hear. I keep waiting for the 'crossover moment' when they break through to playing less intimate venues though I am also hoping for it on the band's behalf! For now though, I am relishing witnessing my favourite live band in the UK where it feels like they are playing in my living room, just for me! Miss this band and you are seriously missing out on something very special!
