Book Tickets: O2 Academy Birmingham Box Office is open for cash ticket sales from 12noon to 4pm, Monday to Friday and 11am to 4pm Saturdays. The Box Office is closed on Sundays and public holidays. O2 Academy Sheffield Box Office is open for cash ticket sales between 11am-6pm Monday to Friday and 11am-4pm Saturday . Public holidays may vary Box Office Collections: All tickets booked in advance for collection may be picked up on the evening of the event after the doors open. You must bring with you the original card used to purchase the tickets and the confirmation code given as proof of purchase Age Restrictions: Generally gigs are all ages however anyone under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult over 18. All clubs are strictly over 18s (Photographic ID may be required). There may be some shows that are an exception to this so please check at the time of booking as refunds will not be available. About Academy Music Group (AMG), concluded negotiations with the University of Leicester Students Union to launch O2 Academy Leicester on campus in September 2010. The Students Union, housed in the Percy Gee building, is the heart of the University of Leicester and currently undergoing a 15m development. The introduction of the 1600 capacity live music and club venue is an integral feature of this programme, with first-class facilities to cater for the biggest live acts on the touring circuit. Arriving at the Venue We recommend arriving at the venue 10-15 minutes prior to the doors opening. The door time will be stated on the tickets or confirmations. Please try to arrive at the venue no later than 60 minutes after the doors open. On arrival please go the Box office and present your confirmation email. Accessible Area & Facilities The area at O2 Academy Leicester is located near the entrance on the balcony next to the stage and can be accessed by wheel chair, level access, lift. The area can accommodate up to approximately 3 wheelchairs with 3 seats. There is level access to this area and you will be taken to this area by a member of our security team. There are 2 accessible toilets in Academy 1 one on the balcony level and one on the stalls level which can be accessed by a lift. Transport & Other Local Information The nearest station is Leicester, and from there the venue can be reached via a short taxi ride. Whilst we have no actual parking at the venue there is a space to be dropped off at the front doors, with on road parking available and car parking at Victoria park 5 minutes up the road.
