Caledonian Road on Piccadilly Line (zone 2) Turn left out the station and then take the first left up North Road. The theatre is then 100m up on your left.

By Train

Caledonian Road & Barnsbury Richmond - North Woolwich Overground service: the theatre is a 10-15 minute walk north up Caledonian Road from the station, but bus Nos. 259, 17, 91 and N91 northbound all stop outside the station. Kings Cross/St Pancras Mainline Intercity, International and local services: either take the Piccadilly Line northbound one stop to Caledonian Road station or bus Nos. 259, 17, 91 or N91 northbound outside Kings Cross station.

By Car

Metered parking is available on North Road during office hours (£0.20 per 6 mins up to £4, max. stay 2 hrs; 9:30am-4:30pm) and free parking is available in the evenings. The Pleasance Theatre Islington is outside the Congestion Charge Zone.

By Bus

We are well served by buses and several pass within easy walking distance of the theatre. 259 Kings Cross - Edmonton Green: nearest stop is outside Caledonian Road tube station - stop D (northbound) and A (southbound). 17 London Bridge - Archway: nearest stop is outside Caledonian Road tube station - stop D (northbound) and A (southbound). 91 Trafalgar Square - Crouch End: nearest stop is outside Caledonian Road tube station - stop D (northbound) and A (southbound). 274 Lancaster Gate - Angel, Islington: nearest stop is on Market Road - stop E (eastbound) and F (westbound). 153 Liverpool Street - Finsbury Park: nearest stop is on Westbourne Road - stop B (northbound) and C (southbound). Please note: this service stops approx. ten minute walk from the theatre, so plan your journey carefully if using the 153. 393 Clapton - Chalk Farm (via Stoke Newington and Highbury Corner): Stop right outside the theatre door! N91 Trafalgar Square - Wood Green: nearest stop is outside Caledonian Road tube station - stop D (northbound) and A (southbound).

Step-free information

- Access to the Main House - the Main House is fully accessible - there is lift access from street level directly into the auditorium and foyer. We can accommodate up to two wheelchair users per performance. Please advise the Box Office if you are a wheelchair user when booking your tickets. - Toilet facilities - there is a disabled toilet located to the left of the bar, please follow the signs or ask for assistance if required.

Hearing Systems

- Audio described, sign interpreted and captioned performances are arranged on a show by show basis in conjunction with the performing company where possible - please check with the box office for further details. - An infra-red hearing loop is available in either of our two venues with advance notice - please check with the Box Office for further details. - If you need to be accompanied by a carer or assistant we will happily provide them with a complimentary ticket - please speak to Box Office staff in advance of the show.
