General Access Info

The Old Woollen welcomes all disabled and Deaf customers to the venue.

There is step free access directly into the venue. Immediately outside the entrance is a car park, which includes accessible parking bays.

COMPANION TICKETS:

We offer a Personal Assistant ticket to any customer who may not be able to attend a show without the support of a PA. If this is something you need, please email dick@tam-events.com to discuss your requirements. We will then confirm this ticket via email. You will be asked to provide evidence for the PA ticket to be issued, along with your valid ticket for the show in question. As examples, we generally provide PA tickets for people in receipt of PIP or DLA; a blind or partially sighted registration certificate; a personal letter from a GP or consultant stating the nature of your impairment or disability and that you require assistance; or written confirmation from Social Services that the individual is included on their Deaf Register.

STANDING GIGS:

Many of our music gigs are standing only. Where capacity is not reached, there may also be some chairs and tables available on a first-come-first-served-basis. However, for our disabled patrons there is a separate access area to the side of the stage, with room for wheelchairs and a limited amount of seating for people who need it. Please let us know in advance if you would like to book a place in this, by using the access enquiries form here: https://oldwoollen.co.uk/access

TOILETS:

We have one accessible toilet. In common with all toilet provision for this historic building, this is situated a short distance from the venue, in the block next to the Gallery. This is step-free, though there is a small lip to get into the building itself. On the night, if you ask a member of our bar staff they will provide a key for this and show you the direction.

CUSTOMERS WITH MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS:

We welcome customers who may need to bring medication, food, drink or medical equipment to manage a medical condition. We may be able to keep medication refrigerated for you, so just let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.

ASSISTANCE DOGS:

We welcome assistance dogs and can provide a bowl of water if needed.

FURTHER ASSISTANCE:

If you have any further needs or questions that you would like information about, then please do use the contact form below. If you need additional assistance on the night of your visit please contact a member of staff, who will be happy to help.
