What people are saying about Bad Manners + Those Fine Strangers

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality night out! Have seen Bad Manners on numerous occasions at The Fleece, a top venue for Two Tone & Ska events. Totally awesome, & Buster & his band never fail to deliver a top night out. Was also fortunate enough to grab a quick 'selfie' with the man himself. Can't wait to be there watching them again on Boxing day,... Cheers Buster!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Started poor but ended well Standing outside the venue well in advance allowed to discern some slight worry that only two of the six band members had showed up. When the doors were officially opened (20 mins after scheduled) I found a nice spot next to the sound-desk. The engineer informed me that he'd not yet had chance to sound-check with the main artist as they'd still not arrived. The support act (Jeramiah Ferrari) were excellent. The Mancunian band were energetic and played some beautiful reggae and ska songs. The singer put me in mind of a young Bob Marley with his sound and look (to a certain degree). Once they'd cleared the stage (at around 9pm), Bad Manners began (albeit slowly) to bring their gear onto the stage. Then they sound-checked each instrument indivudually before vanishing. I overheard talks between the Entertainment staff that the band weren't planning to come on until 9.45 (some 30 minutes AFTER the sound-check was completed). However, when they finally emerged (at 9.50) they skanked up a storm. Buster was excellent and seemed to be genuinely sorry for the tardiness (and for the no-show the last time they were supposed to play) as well as really enjoying himself. 40 years is a long time in showbusiness, and Buster hasn't lost any of his enthusiasm or ability to get the crowd going. Having been a fan since being a boy and never had the chance to see them live until I reached my 40s, I wasn't disappointed (even with the long wait).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Old Ska Boys and Girl's Big Night Out. Live Rooms Chester held this concert. The atmosphere built up as a DJ- Old School played tracks of two tone classics and mod revival tunes for the packed concert. It was hot and the tunes and flowing beer created a great atmosphere. Bad Manners are a top band whose familar songs made everyone dance the night away. They really know how to play and Busterblood vessel may not be as big as he once was but his heart is and this showed. These guys create a feel good night out that is infectious and i would say you would have to be dead below the waist not to be foot tapping and going for a few moves that you remembered from your youth. Great night, great venue, and top top band. Next time they are in town go see you won't be disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from bad manners is the right name for them Shocking.........got these tickets as a birthday present saw just over half hour of them play as they were over an hour late on stage......lead singer was clearly very drunk as he staggered on set...couldn't hear a word he was singing for the first few songs....support band were far better than the main act. One star is over generous.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad manners all right-be better if they had turned up The support band SKAFACE were fantastic and I would definitely go and watch them again unfortunately Bad Manners couldn't be bothered setting off in plenty of time so didn't make it due to traffic. unprofessional, unreliable. unbelievable, add to that warm beer and slow service. thank god for skaface.
