Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! We came from Brazil to see the concert and everything was better than expected. The sound was great, the venue was great and the experience couldn't be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome concert A truly epic and memorable concert. Devin and band delivered as usual. Hammersmith Apollo is such an iconic venue and really easy to get to from Liverpool Street station as its on the circle line. Overall a really good experience, a night I won't forget.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Theres only one word to use EPIC! Two good support bands in the form of leprous and the always impressive Tesseract knocked into a cocked hat by the awesome Devin Townsend Project . Musicianship beyond all normal bounds truly breathtaking!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Puppetmaster of the Omniverse! went to check out opening act LEPROUS. From Norway, they were definitely part of the new breed of tricksy time signatures, ethereal moments & blast beat bombast. Probably needed a bit more sound clarity for the uninitiated but sounded worth checking out. Had another beer while waiting for TESSERACT, a band i was partly familiar with thanks to my son. A step harder & tricksy on from Leprous with moments of mainstream melodicism, had a decent fanbase among the crowd & as a 'drummer' increasingly impressed by the technicality of todays tub thumpers. DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT. Devin has been prolific on the scene for well over 20 years now & while not a die hard fan, has on occasion done great work. Tonight he was celebrating his most relevant to me, OCEAN MACHINE, a CD of his most Melodic & lush material. His band played it in full start to finish & the slightly blurred sound that affected the other 2 bands worked in Devins case adding to the epic orchestral nature of the songs. He seems quite a character as well, which, in the context of a live experience, was something lacking from just about all the other musicians tonight. What’s the Puppet master reference? One of his more ‘out there’ releases was Ziltoid, if you check out the relevant videos you can see what i’m hinting @. There were actually @ least 2 Ziltoid puppets headbanging down the front @ various points, sort of like Sooty & Sweep with Nicko MacBrain if you remember that! Glad i went.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epic! A powerful, and positive concert by DTP. Devin Townsend Project at the Hammersmith Apollo sounded big: powerful, punchy, as well as epic, soft, a great blend of different sounds from the band. I saw, within the same hour, crowd surfing and people closing their eyes to drift away to some epic soundscape, a testament to the broad range of DTP.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A true genius Devin poured his heart and soul into the show, a true genious. It must have been emotionally challenging for him to go back 20 years in the past to recreate the intensity of the Ocean Machine. It is unfortunate that overall sound was muddy and his voice and guitar were buried in the mix. The audience had even difficulties understanding him in between the songs. The pinnacle of the show should have been Sister and The Death of Music, which were a disaster. The most powerful voice in music deserves better than this. I have seen Devin numerous times over the last 13 years, and this tour has been the worse. I left with mixed feelings- proud to have witnessed the Devin pull off against something genious, and disappointed that
