Rated 5 out of 5 by Wheelie from A great night's entertainment A very pleasant venue and a very enjoyable evening's entertainment of music and mirth from the Houghton Weavers, who create a great atmosphere with their songs, banter and audience participation suitable for every age group. They certainly live up to their motto of Keep Folk Smiling, which they've been doing for many years. I would highly recommend their shows for great family entertainment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chris and Trev Taylor from An excellent evening of entertainment. A memorable evening. Tony's voice is well again and brother Jim has added a dimension to the group which increases the repertoire. He is a very talented man on guitar and mouth organ, very witty as well.A very enjoyable evening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rita123 from Birthday Treat My husband and myself has listened to the Houghton Weavers for years and so I decided to take him as a surprise for his birthday. The whole evening was brilliant. We were the first people to arrive at the event and as it was free seating we managed to get on the front row. The whole evening was one of song and laughter, what a great bunch of guy's, their interaction with audience made you feel more like friends. The other performer on the evening was Buzz Hawkins creator of the Bradshaw's, and I can honestly say I laughed till I cried. Once again he had the same stage presence as the Houghton Weavers and made the whole audience feel special. The venue was held in a spectacular building dating back between seven hundred to a thousand years old, it gave you goose bumps just to be there. Just one last things to say and that is a big thank you to all those involved for making a special birthday even more special - we cannot wait to see both acts again.
