Japanese indie pop singer/songwriter who has sold out the Budokan in Tokyo returns to her roots with a short UK tour of intimate shows

I don't think we've ever had an artist who's sold out the Budokan in Tokyo but Japanese singer songwriter Ayano Kaneko achieved this in 2021 just five years after her debut release! She was named Best Alternative Artist in the prestigous Space Shower Music Awards 2022 and has graced the stage of the huge Fuji Rock Festival!

Her breezy but sophisticated indie pop is great for festival stages and arenas but perfect for intimate venues and she is really looking forward to getting back to her roots with a short UK tour to accompany her showcase at this year's Great Escape Festival in Brighton.

Definitely a show for people who've enjoyed our previous Kushikatsu shows with Japanese acts such as The Wisely Brothers, Homecomings and Taffy.
