AGMP presents

CHARLES BRADLEY & his Extraordinaires

+ special guests

Charles Bradley has made a name for himself as a riveting live performer and was named to the top spot on Paste Magazine’s Best Live Acts of 2015.  He has taken his show to venues and festivals across the globe including Coachella, Glastonbury Festival and Primavera Sound.  The Brooklyn-based 68-year old released his third album 'Changes' in 2016 via Daptone Records, which was included in numerous “best of” lists, including MOJO, Paste and Rough Trade.  Bradley returned recently to the stage after successfully completing treatment for stomach cancer.  His 2017 performance at Governors Ball was called one of the “10 best sets” by The New York Times.

The remarkable against-all-odds rise of Charles Bradley since the release of his 2011 debut album 'No Time For Dreaming' has been well documented.  He transcended a bleak life on the streets and struggled through a series of ill-fitting jobs before finally being discovered by Daptone's Gabriel Roth.  The year following the release of 'No Time For Dreaming' was one triumph after another including a breakthrough performance at SXSW, several television performances and having the album named to many year end “best of” lists. The soul singer’s ascent continued with the 2013 release of his triumphant second album 'Victim of Love', which saw Bradley emerging from his past heartaches stronger and more confident, overflowing with love to share.

There is a £1 Restoration Levy added to the ticket price applied by the Forum venue.

Venue Information

The Forum takes the needs of disabled customers very seriously and actively
encourages people of all abilities to attend the events scheduled at the Venue.
Though built in the 1930s, the building has been modernized to allow Wheelchair
access via front of house to the Disabled platform in Downstairs Standing area
(please note there is no direct backstage disabled access).

Due to Licensing and Health & Safety Assessments, we regret the number of
wheelchairs that we can admit to the building is limited. In order to ensure
that all disabled patrons to the HMV Forum are adequately catered for, we
request that all disabled customers contact the venue at
access@o2forumkentishtown.co.uk or telephone on 020 33624140 prior to booking.

However, if you feel there is a show that will sell out very quickly then we
advise patrons to go ahead and buy their ticket first to avoid disappointment.
You will need to email us immediately to let us know you have purchased a
ticket and inform us of your disability. As mentioned above we regret the
number of wheelchairs that we can admit to the building is limited and
therefore we must treat these patrons on a first come first served basis. In
the unlikely event that the disabled area is full by the time we receive your
email then we would inform you of this and a refund would be given.
