DJ Format, aka Matthew Ford, is a truly beloved British DJ and producer known for his contributions to the hip-hop and turntablism scenes. 

 

His music often incorporates funk, soul, and jazz elements, creating a distinctive and danceable sound. Format gained prominence with his 2003 album "Music for the Mature B-Boy." He has collaborated with various artists, including rapper Abdominal, with whom he released the album "If You Can't Join 'Em… Beat 'Em" in 2005. 

His work also features collaborations with artists like Jurassic 5, Edan, Chali 2Na and Akil (of Jurassic 5). DJ Format's innovative approach to blending genres has earned him a respected place in the music industry.
