Hat Fitz & Cara at Worthing Pier
Worthing Piers Southern Pavilion, Worthing.
This event is for over 18s only - No refunds will be issued for under 18s.
Hat Fitz is a “veteran” wild man of the blues scene in Australia with amazing live performances and popularity with festival goers.
Cara draws on her soul background (she’s toured Europe and the United States with singers such as Jamiroquai and the hugely popular Corinne Bailey-Rae), and although blessed with a sensational voice she was not content to be labelled as ‘just a singer’. She has taken to drumming duties as well as washboards, flute and tin whistle, sometimes all at once.
Cara has a stunning voice & when unleashed in its full seductive glory it’s goose bumps time. As for Hat, his slide playing is nothing short of world class, tasteful & his grainy dusty vocals, the perfect foil for Cara’s. Everywhere they perform they make new friends. They keep their music fresh, vibrant and real. There’s a naturalistic feel to their songs with engaging narratives that never feel forced or clichéd.
They have crafted as genuine a blues record as you can hope to find in this day and age - simple, powerful, and full of the inherent realism we've come to expect from these two, a stellar effort."
