His gritty, soulful voice and musicianship can be heard amongst his up-tempo, swinging RnB as James Hunter Six.
In the early '90s, Van Morrison recruited Hunter to sing backing vocals on the road touring and on two albums. In the years to follow, Hunter opened shows for Aretha Franklin, Etta James, BB King, Willie Nelson, and Tom Petty, and headlined clubs, theatres, and festivals across the world.
