Grammy-nominated blues artist, James Hunter, has recorded some of the most original and honest rhythm and soul albums of the last two decades.

His gritty, soulful voice and electrifying live performances can be heard amongst his up-tempo, swinging RnB as James Hunter Six.

In the early '90s, Van Morrison recruited Hunter to sing backing vocals on the road touring and on two albums. In the years to follow, Hunter opened shows for Aretha Franklin, Etta James, BB King, Willie Nelson, and Tom Petty, and headlined clubs, theatres, and festivals across the world. He returns to Jazz Cafe for a highly anticipated second show.
